Aimee discovered yoga in 1994 and was immediately drawn to how it made her feel grounded and balanced. She had been an athlete her entire life with a background in dance, gymnastics, soccer. Yoga fit naturally into her lifestyle and she found yoga to be especially helpful when she was in her first pregnancy and was no longer able to keep running. She realized with yoga, she could still be active and it helped ease the aches/pains of her growing belly. She eventually began to incorporate yoga poses into her treatment sessions with patients and taking continuing education to combine yoga and physical therapy.
She became a Certified Prenatal Yoga Teacher through Blooma Nashville (2015) and completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Kali Yuga in Nashville(2016.) She is currently pursuing her doula certification through Tiny Love Doulas. She is currently pursuing her Pilates teacher training certificate to be completed February 2023.
Aimee lives in Mt. Juliet,TN with her husband and 3 beautiful and lively daughters. When not working or doing yoga, she enjoys doing anything outdoors with her family. They can often be found rock climbing, snow boarding and wading through mountain streams. She wants to teach her daughters how to enjoy life to the fullest and to be passionate independent women.
